I can see some mood author adding this in, now that it had been mentioned. We already have a wolf companion cube. Why not cow, sheep and chickens.?

My preferred tool of teleporting animals is the Portalgun. Put one portal up in the arrival location on a pedestal a couple blocks above ground so no animal can walk back into the portal. Then go to the animals and just shoot the other portal at their feet. Super easy. The portals will on their own chunkload both ends so there is no problems on the arrival end.

You can put them horizontally, MFR conveyor belt your herd... ??????... Profit (most likely).

This or if you are okay with slow it being slow then reusable net from MFR for one at a time.
