Problem Need A lot of Help

Hi there tech support or anyone who is able to help

I am trying to create a server for 1.5.2 direwolf's pack with me and my 1 friend

I am running Windows 8 as my OS
I am running it with Hamachi

Ok so my problem is I try to run the .bat file in my server files and it closes instantly. So I added the "pause" command after to see the error. It says java is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I want to allocate more ram unto it but it wont open the batch and after I do open it how do I add more ram

MY SPECS:
AMD A10-5750M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.50Ghz
64 bit processor and operating system
8.00 GB in RAM

Ive read other threads but they don't seem to work, im a newer with computers so go easy on me,

Can you paste the contents of the serverstart.bat and what java version you have and if it is 64 bit or not please.

java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar minecraft_server.jar\

And a x64 bit java version

Also more information, I just downloaded the files they are brand new on my desktop in a unzipped folder

Sorry to say this but my friend cant connect to me with Hamachi. I have given him my ip but it says he cant reach the server on his computer. I have everything setup right but he cant seem to join me in the server

To my understanding to connect to a hamichi server you need hamachi as well. It is best to just open port 25565
