Need a decent power setup

Was looking at setting up a water mill power setp for my underwater base, but since rp2 got removed, my methods are gone now, i wanted to ask you all if you know of any way to use water mills for power that isnt too complicated, i live underwater in a grief server, hence the need for water mills

pump glass bottles into the watermills with BC pipes. (you could use export buses or LP but both draw power to operates) Hook up empty glass bottles to a liquid tranposer set on filling mode. Buckets are cheaper to fills and no reproduction of them is needed however you need to make a item loop to send the buckets round and round the mills.
