so you also think that that is the problem?
Could be and if you intend to do any serious gaming a dedicated card is going to be required anyway, so grab a nice shiny one and report back to us if it fixes the problem please :)

As I said earlier there have been reports here and there of integrated graphics issues so it could be.

That is indeed your problem, minecraft is a big cpu hog but you also need a pretty decent graphics card to run it smoothly.

So after i got my new graphics card, i had the same preformance issues. the mindcrack modpack will run at around 20 fps, vannilla minecraft caps at 60 fps, and chunks do not load properly  i might trow my computer out the window

This thread is full of fail.

1. You forgot to set the dedicated gfx to be in use didnt you.
2. It capped at 60 becuse you have vsync on.
3. Going over 60 is useless anyway as your monitor can only refresh at around 60-75 unless youre using a old shitty CRT or an expensive LCD.

Did you remember to/ try to change the default RAM usage?
Feed the beast launcher> options> Ram maximum.
That'll limit you no mater what kind of computer you have.

Firstly, it works good now, this is an old thread 2. I set the graphics card to be default in the BIOS, and in case the BIOS is wrong (which it never is) than i am using the right graphics card 3. i didn't want my normal MC to get over 60, i was just wondering why. so. yeah.
(oh and I set the ram usage to 6 gigs, and it normally uses about 2% of that, so that isn't a problem)

For some reason, it limits me to just under 8GB, and I have 16. I guess they updated it to accept half of the computer's max RAM.
