I have a public mining age on my server and I would like to reset it. If delete the age file from the world folder will I be able to regenerate the same world by going though the book again?

I know I can do similar things with the end and the nether but I do not know if mystcraft works in the same way.

its a mystcraft age, dude.. just delete the book and remake the world using the same pages. you wont get the identical same age, obviously, but it would have all the same modifiers

If you hard-delete the folder from the server, the books will error out / crash. However, I haven't tried re-*naming* a new/virgin/blank age with the same name, i.e. replacing the folder. That might work.

You might just be able to delete the region files for that world and restart the server/reload the world and have it regenerate with the same seed, spawn, etc

This is what I am hoping will happen. Thanks, I am going to test some things on a single player world before I even start doing things on the server.

The mystcraft world has it's region files in a differnt folder then /minecraft/world/region the mystcraft world region files are stored in a folder per each world in /minecraft/world/dim(whatever the world is different for every mystcraft world)/region
