So, I tried getting the Myscraft mod in the Mindcrack pack and it wouldnt work for me. Okay, so I remove the mod. Then I try playing again. I log on, and I look in the NEI menu. Nothing, I can't look anything up, I can't change gamemodes, and whenever I try to look up an item in NEI, it crashes. Someone help?!

First of all, a crash log would be appreciated for the Mystcraft installation part.
As for the NEI bug, go to your FTB install directory, go to mindcrack, then minecraft, then locate the saves folder. Open it up, and delete both the NEI folder and the NEI.dat. Then, go into the save where this started off and delete the NEI and NEI.dat which is in there again. This will reset all your NEI settings, but nothing too much actually happens unless you have lots of configuration in NEI, which almost no people have.

Actually, I think I remember hearing that twilight forest has the DIM id of 7, and your first mystcraft world does. Even without the log, I can tell that you need to go into twilight forest config and change the DIM id (Dimension ID) to something really high, such as 50. If you're a mystcraftaholic, you may need it even higher, but I doubt you'd create 45 ages :p

That would be good if he were doing it the other way around. He is trying to install Mystcraft so he does not have any worlds besides the one for Twilight Forest yet. Nice idea though.

Edit: I do not think that Mystcraft would overwrite a Twilight Forest world. Your idea would also require him to change the folder in his save as well if he already created a portal to the Twilight Forest. I hope someone happens by that can confirm that Myscraft will not overwrite a Twilight Forest world.

He could of course reverse this situation then solve it from there (Disable twilight forest, download fresh version, install mystcraft w/out twilight, make age in mystcraft, then change config of twilight forest, then add it in.)
