I currently host a server for me and my friends to play on, I have created a mystcraft age so that I can keep my own world safe while my other friends do whatever they want. But when I created my age I used the page "no weather" not thinking about what I was doing at the time and that I would need it in the future for things such as Ars Magica Bosses, Witchery rituals etc. I was wondering if there was any command or thing I can change in the server that will allow me to change the page to "normal weather"

Thanks
Krazy

Unfortunately, there is no way to change a page of an already created Mystcraft age. Even in the official Myst lore, changing a page would result in dire consequences. F'rinstance, one boy tried to help his friends, the inhabitants of an age, by removing a page from the book. When he returned to the age, he found that the entire lives of his friends had been altered and they no longer remembered him. Moral of the story: Don't change your books.
Completely unnecessary lore aside, there is no way to change the pages of an age. However, if you still have the original descriptive book, you can copy over the pages from the original into a new one, and remove the "No Weather" page and institute a new one as you see fit. I recommend actually choosing a Weather page, as it would otherwise choose randomly.

I may be totally off mark. Which I'm saying this to be more informed on the matter. I thought you could edit the mystcraft age properties in the server files. I remember seeing a guide on how to cheat to make any age stable by doing thay couldn't the same techniques be used to modify the properties?

Yeah I think you are right there, I looked into it and made a forum on the mystcraft website, a Admin has told me a way to do it so if anyone needs this in the future just remember to look here: http://binarymage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2145&p=16765#p16765

Not really a mystcraft help, but if all you need is having it rain you could go the Forestry route(if available) and make the Rainmaker.

The rainmaker doesnt work for ages that had the "no weather" page included I already tried. Its ok though I edited the files of mystcraft to allow me to change the page:)
