Mystcraft help please...

Every time I create a mystcraft random age and go through, nothing at all loads.. I am just floating in mid air, there is no land or anything and I can not move at all...

Anybody know why this is? Or if anybody could help me out I would be grateful, thankyou.

the world loading may be too much for your pc to handle its has been known to crash both server and clients while making worlds

It takes a looooooong time to load.
Depends on your computer speed.
It took my latest one like 5-10 minutes to load.

Ah, the joys of cave worlds.

A trick I use to help speed up mystcraft world gen is to hit the Esc key as soon as I spawn in a new age and then wait for the cpu usage to drop off. This essentially pauses the game allowing minecraft to focus entirely on generating and rendering terrain without having to deal with whatever else you've got going on in your world.

You'll have to what a bit. I used to force quit when that happened. That was a bad idea.

Aye, from what I recall, its either gravel/sand in cave worlds, or RP2 marble. Least, I remember the latter being mentioned as a reason why worldgen in Mystcraft can be a laggy arse, sometimes. Something about the way it generates as opposed to other blocks and such...don't quite remember, to be honest.
