Mystcraft Disabling Problem

Details of the issue:
We want to disable Mystcraft, but when we do no one can join the server. Out of guessing I disabled it on my client and I was able to join. This is the only mod we've found that does this. We've disabled other mods and we don't have the connect issues. We don't want to have to tell all our players to disable the plugin on their end is there something known or a problem similar that we can fix to avoid that?

Hey take Mystcraft completely out of the server mods :) Then no one will have that issue and just keep it around as a back up. I mean thats what I would do ha

Considering he said that he could only join if he removed mystcraft from the client I think he already tried to remove it from the server

He only said disabled lenscas :p That is why when he said he disabled on his client side he was able to join. He also said he does not wanna tell his players to have to do that. Ya know Mystcraft.jar.disabled :p is different then removing the jar completely :)

maybe but don't they need to have the same effect?
I always thought that when it loaded the files it just ignored the files with a .disabled and as a result have the same effect as not being in the mods folder

This is what I thought too, and I have always added .disabled to disable mods. Another user did say on another thread that clients can't join if they have Mystcraft but the server doesn't have it.

Yes it does sometimes. I used to never be able to play with opis.jar.disabled for some reason no matter what I did. So I just tossed it out the mod pack and it would work. I also know some configs do this as well, like if I change the recipe value on how to make deep storage units. So instead of like greg tech I move it to thermal expansion sometimes it will not change which is very odd. Then when you try to take the item out after you put all the items in the table it wont come out at all. So now I just leave stuff like that alone and anything I do not want in my packs I just put them in a backup folder. :)

Well does mystcraft have any sub mods? Like I think like redstonepastemod requires TTcore. So maybe it has something to do with another mod.
I just do not see how on a client side this would effect you being able to join a server who does not have the mod in the mod pack at all. That is really weird..
