Mystcraft - Descriptive Books

I can't seem to find a recipe for them. I know it says it's just a book and a feather but that doesn't actually result in anything. It seems like prior to the update that I was able to make them this way (although admittedly I didn't know anything about mystcraft and hadn't made any so maybe I just remember seeing it in the recipes or whatever). Anyway, I can't seem to make them anymore and I can't seem to find a recipe (other than a book and a feather) for it either.

Also, can you use the linking books to teleport in the overworld or do you have to go to another world (nether or twilight forest, etc) and then click on a book back to the overworld?

As of the DW20 update, making descriptive books is a bit more complicated: it's probably easiest to look up DW20's recent mod spotlight.

Also, you cannot use linking books to teleport 'within' the same age - you can activate a Nether linking book in the overworld, for example, but you cannot activate an overworld linking book in the overworld.

Thanks for the info. Any chance you can tell me where to find the modspotlight? I'm still fairly new to FTB and although I was able to figure out some of the new stuff from the last update, couldn't ever really find a "changelog".
