Mystcraft crashes the client on all teleports in our server also. This is the error on server:
http://pastebin.com/Lk4f4P7R

Client receves "Internal server error".
Running default FTB release build.

Any advice would be great!

Holy lots of different crash issues, batman. Let me see what I can wade through here...

Hey guys I don't have much time so here it is whenever me or a friend uses Mystcraft on my server it crashes our modpacks and the server

Edit: ok here's the pastebin link sorry I had no idea http://pastebin.com/SPxPwjQe

Should not be happening, not enough information provided to additionally diagnose. This should probably get reported at Mystcraft's BugTracker or their forum. Sorry I can't be more helpful on this one, but it's really a case of not being able to do more with it without it being right in front of me (there's some wild flailing I could suggest but that may not be constructive; see my response to Slipstream below and substitute "2" for "0" if you want a last ditch thing to try).

Who all are running ops? Are any of those people living in Magnet Mode? If so, can you get them to turn it off and try again? That crash is linked to a check for the NEI Magnet Mode, rather than a direct Mystcraft crash itself.

Since this is a mystcraft issue on my end too

Mine is here http://pastebin.com/Umu67iP5 Any help would be appreciated.

How many people are you running simultaneously and how much memory are you giving the server? This error is your minecraft server out-and-out running into a memory brick wall and saying "I can't take any more of this crap". If your user limits/memory allocation are reasonable, you may also want to see if there are any world anchors/chunk loaders getting spammed, and limit those.

Now mine crashes on anybody entering

Edit recently add EE and Extended workbench but removing had no effect

Another oddball one. World 0 is the overworld; mystcraft shouldn't be messing with that. That said, I had this happen on a private config server once; problem is, all I had to do to fix it was shut the server off and restart it and it behaved again (not very helpful, I know; you obviously had to do the same in loading/unloading mods after all). You may (and I can't guarantee you'll see this, but it's worth a shot) wish to look in the /world/ directory of your server and see if by chance there's a DIM_MYST0 folder, a DIM0 folder, or if under /world/data there's an agedata_0.dat. If any of those actually exist, get them out of there. Note: there's a real chance something foofy could have happened to your overworld if this is the case. I make no guarantees; as always, before performing a procedure in the /world/ folder, if you give a damn about your world, back it up!

If anybody else has suggestions for these folks, they all look to be hairy and relatively obscure issues. Please share your solutions. =)

Yeah, unfortunately given the amount of time this thread has been sitting, I think for the stuff that's popping Mystcraft errors specifically that the Mystcraft forums themselves may be the better destination (I hate doing referrals, but I hate seeing one of these sit this long and it's obscure enough that it's likely nobody here knows what to do with it if nobody's answered yet).

There are some mod stability tweaks in the next Mystcraft version, but we won't be seeing that in the pack until 1.4.4 is live and the pack is updated to that.

We have no ops at all, and no magnet mode. Seems weird.
The thing that fixed it for me was disabling NEI serverside. Finally no more crashes while teleporting :)

Yeah, super weird occurrence. Killing NEI serverside is less than optimal, but it shouldn't break too much as long as you aren't using the Creative+ kinds of features (disable/enable rain, different times of time, magnet mode, et al.). Probably will get fixed in a polish pass on the pack when 1.4.4 is official (either that or made worse... yay software? ;)).

Ok thank you but now the sever as I said before will crash on anyone logging in even without mods
As mentioned, barring a quick update to 1.4.4, I don't know of a solution for you beyond scrapping what isn't working and trying from scratch. Sorry there's not a happier answer than that, but there's really not enough information here to get more specific with solutions (as I said, if anybody else reading this has a better idea, it'd be welcome, I'm simply not coming up with enough data to suggest something better).

Hey, Not sure if this a fix but if you go into your world folder you should see a NEI document. Open it up and you will see a list of world names, if your myst craft worlds are not there add this dim_mystx
x being your world number. unfortunately I removed mystcraft before i saw this and wasn't able to save my worlds so not sure if this is a fix.

I already fixed it but thank you for the answer all I had to do is not use Mystcraft at all

saying dimension 2 doesn't have a provider type, recreate the world(delete it and rename the others to fill the void)
(crashing right when it tries to gen the new dimension.)

It is throwing NEI errors at:

at codechicken.nei.NEIServerUtils.isMagnetMode(NEIServerUtils.java:377)
which is from magnet mode.
(technical side:packet handling issue on chickenbones side :p)

Miralindo
2012-11-11 05:58:51 [SEVERE] Encountered an unexpected exception OutOfMemoryError
Allocate more ram.
(Does it render slowly when you start minecraft? Turn down settings for better fps/speed.)

It runs out of memory when trying to gen the dimension.
More packet issues.

Slipstream, mystcraft is derping from having dimensions not working right. Try recreating the world.

And after typing all this, I noticed that the last post was from over 6 months ago.......o well, there's the solutions to the problems presented.
BTW I develop Hunting Traps Mod.
