Hi guys, I'm new to these boards. Anyways, I was wondering about something. My friend informed me that in a Mystcraft Cave World, chests frequently generate on the top of the world. Unfortunately, I have not been fortunate enough to find one of these pages, and therefore I cannot make a Cave World. I was wondering 1) how common these pages are in those cobblestone Mystcraft houses in generated ages and 2) if my friend is correct on the abundance of chests at the top of the world.

About the chest abundance? I have no idea.
About the rarity of these pages?
Infinitely small.
You are better off trading with Myst Villagers.
There is a little thing with the Mystcraft Villagers that causes them to have...
Infinite trades.
Every time you trade for a Page, the trade gets deleted and replaced.
This can go on forever.
Just keep on trading.
Still pretty rare though.
Why do I always post like this?

Worlds that are utterly or mostly flat will have a lot of visible Thaumcraft dungeons/chests and a fair number of villages to plunder if you also have that symbol, so your friend was telling the truth.

The Cave World symbol generates a nether-like system of huge and very strange "caves" below the surface of a flat map. Meadows plus Single Biome plus Standard Terrain is also acceptable.

If you don't mind a world that is a bit more of an acid trip than you were expecting and want a different loot table, use a Void or End symbol and then add Mineshafts. Hilarity ensues.

Oh, and be sure to have a clear modifiers after your terrain type on the 1.4.7 Ultimate version. Happy dimension-hopping.
