Mystcraft bugging my Player.dat file

I am having a lot of problems with Mystcraft recently, not generating my ages properly or whatever...
The main issue I am having happens when I log off in my Mystcraft age.
When I try to log back on it is stuck on "Loading World".I tried waiting for 10 minutes, without any luck.
I had to delete my player.dat file in my world save, losing all of my inventory and my TC3 Researches...
Has anyone got a fix for this ?
I am playing the Ultimate pack in SSP.

Ok,appearently I have found that maybe updating Java will make it work.
I'll let you know...

1. Change the install path to c:\FTB\
2. Exit FTB
3. Start FTB
4. Switch to the console window and change it to debug
5. Start a new world.
6. Got to a mystcraft age (cheating is ok)
7. Go back to main world.
8. Exit, Save that log
9. Repeat steps #2 - #6
10. EXIT in the mystcraft age, and try to go back in.
11. Save that log.
