Hello everyone, I would like to share my fully automatic magical crops setup in Sky Factory 2.5, please take a look at it and see if you guys can improve my design. Thanks!
I have 2 magical crops farms right now, one with minicio and the other with other crops. The first attachment is the overview of the farms, I think it is pretty clean and quite compact.
Both harvesters and planters have iron upgrades. 7x7 farms is ideal as the vanilla farmland machanic. (I know I can use fertile soil, but it messes up the growth pulsers.)
For the piping, I use fluctuating itemducts as they not only transfer items, but also RF. I use a filter to blacklist all the seeds and all the essence will go into the ender chest, which is connected to my ME network. The second attachment shows my piping system on the surface.
Then, the itemducts are connected to the planter, which automatically plants all my seeds. A tesseract is also used to provide energy from my turbine to the machines via energy conduits from EnderIO and itemducts. I also put growth pulsers under the farmland (which I am working on filling the entire farm) to speed them up. You can see my piping below the surface from the third attachment.
Finally, the sludge produced is transferred using fluiducts, which are hidden under cobblestone covers. The sludge go into a tesseract as you can see in the fourth attachment. The sludge boiler is placed under my main platform with 2 tesseracts, one providing energy and the other providing sludge. The items that the boiler creates are put into the ender chest which, again, is connected to my ME network as you can see in the last attachment.
