my launcher takes ages too load mods

i donnow if someone said it before me but i have a problem with the FTB launcher:
when i open ftb he says "pls wait while mods are being loaded", whell i did i let it run for 4 hours straight and it still doesn't show the mods. I've just deleted it all and downloaded the launcher for the 10th time and it still doesn't work.

i looked around and i saw some posts where they say i need too force update but i can't because i can't highlight any mods when i try too log in too make it force update i get this

Probably your firewall/antivirus. Try disabling your antivirus and then force update the modpack. Be aware this will leave your computer vulnerable, so turn the antivirus back on once its done.

eughm i donnow if you read it completely but ftb doesn't wanne force update as long i don't have a mod in my list(what is the case: i don't have any mods in the list) it keeps saying loading mods, or is there another way too force update that i donnow about? if so pls tell me

Try reinstalling FTB by clearing out all the modpack folders as well as deleting the ftblauncher folder in the appdata folder.
