I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but I am at my wits end. I recently fell into my furnace and died, and after I tried to smelt ores in the furnace after my death, I've found that my furnace has broken! I've checked the flux level and its at minimal so I know that isn't the issue. When i drop ore in, it sinks into the lava but nothing is spit out of the grate in front. Please help me and thank you.

I've dismantled and reconstructed it at least three times. I've even gone as far as starting a new world in creative and a furnace worked just fine there.
The only thing I can think of, (not to imply that this is THE reason, or even the ONLY reason) is that maybe there is something left after you die? Some sort of entity no visible in game, sort of like a death marker or something? Can you rebuild the furnace a couple of blocks over and does it work their?
Ergh, no dice :/ I may have to start fresh on a new world. Is threre any way I can move items from one world to another?
The only Way I know is by using MCEdit... You can get almost the same world by just recreating it from the new game menu.
see i have the same problem of it not working at all and i am using the direwolf20 pack i have even downloaded the last world upload he did and then built it for myself in the nether but it does have vis there i checked for that i have took it down and rebuilt it but nothing works i throw 64 of every meat that are raw and waited for like 15 minutes for something to come out but nothing comes out of it at all what is up with that i want the triple meat treat that is all i plan on using it for
