Whenever I come back to my home, all my Gregtech machines (industrial centrifuge, industrial electrolyzer, automatic wiremill, etc) turn into these same weird cube blocks.
If I try to right click on them, the game crashes; if I leave it alone for about 2-3 minutes, they revert back to their normal respective machines.

This has happened for the third time now.
Any idea what's going on?

I've had this happen also. Only fix I know is to wait for them to load. It never takes 2-3 mins though, more like 10 seconds for me.

It's a rendering glitch I believe, basically because it's not loaded properly yet, it has absolutely no idea what to do when you right click on it, and thus it crashes.

Only thing is to wait for them to load as it is said, and the fix for them not loading fast is the same as any other lag fix really. Get a better computer, install optifine, or be patient.

I tried installing OptiFine and messing around with the graphics settings, and it definitely helped.
The glitch itself still happens though. (if it's a glitch)

Lemme explain, gtech uses one ID for many of his machines. The loading code is kinda bulky and it takes a bit for the machines to load. So essentially you're trying to use machines which are not yet loaded fully.

Greg fixed this in the mean time and now you simply can't click them before they load, and it now also loads the textures imediately so it doesn't look weird. So yeah, wait for an update and don't use not fully loaded machines in the mean time.

The only way to stop this glitch is to mine all the weird cubes with your fastest mining tool!.....

They turn into the Advanced Machine Block (in my experience), and usually if I left click them a few times they fix themselves pretty fast (a few seconds).

Guys. It's not a glitch. It's an un done feature to reduce lag, that unfortunatly, since its un done, crashes your game if you don't know you need to wait. What happens is: To reduce lag, GregTech turns his machines into advanced machine blocks while they are loading, making them un acessable, and if you try to click it in the loading proceedement, you crash. I'm not actually sure if it's un done and Greg just doens't know about this, which I dought. Anyway, just wait for your machine to load. Since it's still loaded when a chunk is loaded (I think), you could probably use chunk loaders to make the machines loaded everytime when you get back from a adventure.

Or maybe it's just how RavynousHunter said, Greg thought that having machines always acessable is too OP :p
