Mac My FTB launcher won't launch!

I have FTB downloaded and it works just fine untill I click the launch button. It says that FML is setting up my minecraft environment and then it just stops and goes back to my main screen. I have the latest version of java(java 7) and tekkirt won't work as well. i'm thinking it's because we have to have java 6?

Either Java 6 or update your lwjgl. Look here for more info on playing FTB with a Mac. If you choose to update your lwjgl you need to do it for each pack since the files are in the modpack folder.

I cannot help much with tekkit as this is an FTB forum, but there is one known bug with tekkit and the packs. If your pack has GregTech and the path to the modpack contains the word tekkit GregTech will crash minecraft.
