My FTB launcher won't even load up

First, my apologies if this thread has been done millions of times. Feel free to merge if needed.

My problem is that I am unable to get the FTB launcher to even load up.

Operating System, bit type: Windows 7 (32-bit)
Java version/update, bit type: Java 7 (v. 45) (32-bit)
Anti-malware software: None
Location you're downloading from: California, USA
Launcher version: Not sure? The links from the homepage on 12/12/13
Completed the troubleshooting guide (y/n): Yes

I get the "Since this is your first time" message and the folder install location is the right one (Desktop -> FTB) However, I get as far as I get there in the pastebin and then nothing else.

I've deleted all my old launcher files from my old folder as well as the ftblauncher folder in my .Roaming folder.

Running out of things to try, and I hope I've provided enough info for someone to give me some ideas.

Yeah same here! So many people are getting this problem and no one is even looking at the post. We are posting this here so someone can try and help. Not for the fun of it..

Well maybe you could of looked at the other 15 posts that are exactly the same and are about the same problem. "Launcher wont start", "problem with updating the launcher". They are all over and not a single person knows what to do cause there is no help. :/

Its not my job (or even the staff's job) to search though "15 posts that are exactly the same" and come back here to answer.

There is literally hundreds of possible reasons as to why you are getting the problem, and it is not always the same.

I also recommend you dont talk like that on here if you want someone to help.

There's not many of us. Chill, there's been hundreds of threads started in the last week. Many of them could have been avoided if posters had searched for their issue to find a solution first.

I know how to help on almost all of these threads. I am just one lady though.

I'd also like to ask: if you saw 15 threads, posting the exact same thing, why not report them letting us know that they're exactly the same as another thread?
Posting the same thing 15 times just makes 15 more threads we have to go to, instead of one or two that we could have handled, with solutions available for everyone.

I have. It just seems that the only way the problem will be brought to someones attention is if there are multiple. I am not the one making these threads just the one trying to let you know that there are so many people with this problem and no one has posted a single thing on ANY of them. I imagine you have other problems to, but why not work on the biggest one first?

The more there are, the harder it is to handle. The more people report the same issue is helpful, but it's most helpful in one thread.

Well here is what the problem is that a lot of people are facing. http://pastebin.com/eypA0R7M everything is the same that was posted at the top of this thread. I have done all the trouble shooting and read all of your threads. Any ideas on how to fix it?

The console log is the one described under the first paragraph in this article. Please post your logs as described to prevent them from expiring.

Description of the Issue:

If your console log indicates that you have not completed the guide exactly as I have prepared it, then I will ask you to do it again.

Idea number two:
It's a connection issue caused by one of a few things.
Antivirus blocking the launcher from connecting, launcher not being allowed to connect due to lacking administrative rights, poor internet connection, unknown security software on the computer or router.
