My FTB keeps updating! HELP ME PLEASE!

My FTB keeps updating everytime i start it up and it's the same update (ofcourse when it changes to the current update when it comes) right now 2014-07-28 it is updating 1.0.4.0.3 everytime i start it up and i loose my login so i have to type it in evertime i start FTB up and it deletes my markings/waypoints so almost everytime i play i must either write down the coordinates or start from blank and that irretates me because i lost my base which i had played in for a couple of weeks then i decided to wander of to find new feilds to place my quarry and then i had to eat so me being me i saved and quit the game and shut down the FTBLauncher and lost EVERYTHING! Please help me with this!
 
You do save and close down the game and launcher properly right? You don't just shut down the computer when you're done?
