Details of the issue:

All my other friends can connect to my server and play just fine. Besides for one, who can play every other game fine. When he tries to play minecraft he lags like crazy. Is there anything he do to possibly fix this? Also when he plays normal minecraft (realms I think) his connection is just fine. Thanks for any help.​

What country is your friend located? And where's this server? Also what bandwithd does his Internet have?
Chances are this friends internet is not actually that good.
What other games do they play?

He lives like 30 miles away. He has 3mbps. The server is located in the US. He plays rocket league, vanilla minecraft on realms, and mgsv online. He says his connection is fine in all of those games. Is there anyway to improve his connection by like port forwarding or something?
