My friend can't get on my Departed server but I can.

Details of the issue:
My best friend and I started a single player lan world together. When he went home, I moved the world to a multiplayer server. It worked fine although was a little laggy, until the other day when it just stopped letting him on. I can still get on from my computer. If you need any more information just let me know.​

So you moved your single player world to a server world and he was able to play at one time then? Did you port forward your stuff?
 
well my friend and I already checked my IP but I checked and I'm still port forwarded
 
are you sure he uses the correct ip?
this is not the 192.168.something.something
google what is my ip to get the correct one
 
Ok we fixed the IP which was wrong but not a 192.168. Here's what he says

If I try to connect it says logging in for a long time
then it says
Failed to connect to server
Timed Out
 
and that can mean a thousand of things.
Can you at least provide a log?
 
is this from the server?
as it says that it crashed and unless I read the problem wrong you didn't have a crash
 
I need his log.
but anyway, this doesn't show him even trying to connect.
only thing I can think of is some sort of config error.
either you did something wrong with the routes, or he uses the wrong port or he uses the wrong ip address.
