My Buildcraft Quarry doesn't use Silktouch?

I'm noticing that the Quarry I made is picking up Cobblestone instead of Smooth Stone. Why? How can I upgrade ie to be like the older version?
 
The BC quarry itself has always been this way, there was a mod by denoflionsx that added an advanced version but I'm not sure if it has been officially maintained to 1.7.10.

Yes, it's called QuarryPlus and I have it. But I remember back in the day that the Quarry did silktouch the mined blocks. I played up until Monster and then...Life Issues. But I'm back to Infinity and was surprised that it wasn't giving me the blocks with Silktouch.
 
I don't remember the BC quarry ever having silk touch.

Quarryplus was a fun mod though. I don't think it's still maintained unfortunately...

BC quarries have never done that. Ever.

OK, then I might be remembering it wrong and I was using the QuarryPlus. Will have to check that. Thanks anyways, guys.

The QuarryPlus quarry needs to be enchanted with silk touch from a book (right click on it with an enchanted book of silk touch)
 
Actually Chris, don't you need a special machine to apply the enchant?

I use QuarrysPlus in the latest infinity and I think it fits in well with the tech/resources progression.
 
It's been a long time since I used quarry plus. Or did I confuse the mechanic with another mod? Oops.
 
Quarrry Plus does need an enchant mover block. You might be thinking of Reika's mods, which just require clicking with an enchanted book (or at least they used to, haven't done it in a while.)
