· Netherrack to Lava Generator
Using a Magma Crucible and Magmatic engines one could make a fully automatic Netherrack to Lava Generator. You pump lava into five magmatic engines which not only power the crucible but a Redstone Energy Cell as well. You can use the Buildcraft Energy to power all of the machines in a sorting room.

· Sorting Machine / Storage House
Using RedPower’s Sorting Machine block one can create a fully automated sorting system with IndustrialCraft or ThermalExpansion’s machines. I could pair this with a Netherrack to Lava Generator as well as Magmatic Engines from Thermal Expansion.

· Villager Breeding Farm / Trading Post
With all of the Emeralds being produced by the UUM factory one will have a lot of emeralds! One can trade them with villagers in an exclusive village trading post. Villagers can be bred and Iron golems can be used to keep them safe. Villagers with special deals should be kept inside of a special building where they can be extra safe. Each type of villager should be separated into their own districts. Normal, Farmer, Librarian, Priest, Butcher, Blacksmith, and Apiarist from Forestry.

· Automatic Animal Breeding Farm
Using a Feeder from Railcraft, one could feed cows and pigs within minecarts in a close proximity. The bred cows and pigs can fall down into a pen while the main breeding animals stay up in the minecarts. You can kill all of the animals inside of the pen without having to save a couple for re-population.

· Farms & Production Lines
You can use either Forestry farms or Thaumcraft golems to automatically harvest crops for you and send them through a production line. One could link up their nether wart farm to the potion machine, or wheat farm to a bread baker and plant ball processor.

· Minecart Item Transport System
Items can be transported via a minecart system under ones house. Detector rails, item unloaders and sorting pipes can be used to send machines the materials they need to function. One could use this system to take materials to and from their farms.

· Fully Automatic Sheep Shearer
Using RedPower Deployers one can set up a fully automated sheep farm for all sixteen colors of wool. You could even go as far as to setup a Manager system to keep the deployers filled with shears. Automatic crafting measures can be setup to supply the whole system with shears.

· Zombie Flesh / Canning Machine Farm
Using a zombie spawner one could send spawned zombies down a chute to die in lava. An obsidian pipe or hungry chest can then pick up the flesh and pump it into a canning machine system to turn the rotten flesh into edible food. The same could be done with a spider spawner.

· Junk Recycler / Scrap Processor
Uses to recycle useless junk like extra cobblestone and marble from the quarries. The processing plant should be rather large in order to handle the mass amounts of junk pouring in. The scrap then goes to the Mass Fabricator and the UUM plant.

· Zombie Pigman Farm / Gold Nugget Processor
Using either soul shards or moved spawners via a portal gun, one could create a zombie pigman farmer with water and transposers from redpower. They could send the rotten flesh through either a junk recycler or the canning machine, and the golden nuggets through an auto-crafter to make golden ingots.

· Enderman / End Farm
Cover The End in water and make an automatic Enderman farm. After a while of killing Enderman you can use a soul shard to make a soul cage which will spawn Endermen automatically. Using Equivalent Exchange one can turn Ender Pearls into four iron ingots, making for a very nice source of iron.

· Blaze Spawner / Energy Production
One could use a blaze farm to gain blaze rods which in turn could be cooked inside of an IndustrialCraft generator for energy. The energy produced could be enough to power a whole slew of machines depending on how many blaze rods and generators you are using.

· RedPower Frame Quarry
Set up a Frame Quarry inside of a dedicated mining age using Mystcraft. One can use either RedPower computers or ComputerCraft computers to control it, and either Minecarts or Ender Chests to transport items between dimensions.

· Mass Fabricator / Emerald Generator
Using the Scrap from the Recycling plant one could turn it all into UUM. The UUM can be split up and prioritized via sorting systems. In order to have a large villager farm and trading post a lot of Emeralds need to be produced. Fifty percent of the UUM can be turned into emeralds and twenty-five percent kept for storage.

· Automatic Potion Brewing System (Theoretical)
One could use managers or golems attached to brewing stands to automatically put in ingredients and pull out potions. It would be best to attach a priority system to it to only make potions when there is space inside of a chest or barrel using structure pipes, gates, red pipe wire and logic from RedPower.

That only works with compact solars, the advanced solars in FTB need a lot of uranium, which doesnt have an UU recipe.

I always wanted to make an automatic pumpkin pie creating factory, a couple of other ideas I had were, going to the nether, getting a few blaze spawners together and farming them to use the blazerods to fuel generators and create infinite power (assuming that works) I also wanted to try and make a system and recycles all my cobble, and then autocrafts the scrap into boxes, the boxes would then be opened and all the loot would be scooped up by an obsidian pipe and sorted (bad stuff could be shot into a lava pool or something)

I really like that blaze spawner idea dude :) Get a tier 5 blaze spawner hooked up to a water trap and transposers like eloraam had in her forgecraft base. That would be an awesome power source. Can you actually burn blaze rods?

wouldn't it just be easier to make a path away from the mainland like everyone else does? covering the end all in water could really lag your game I think. also I think it's kind of too easy to use the enderpearls with EE3 to get iron... how about making it a bit more challenging and do a zombie spawner for example to get iron as drops. and if you are lucky you could get some iron armor and tools as drops and turn them back into iron with RP. and if you need gold you could even make a pigmen spawner and turn all the golden nuggets as drops into golden ingots.

I also see you don't really have any plans for forestry yet. so how about making a few forestry farms that keep themselves self-sustaining. you could for example make a sugarcane farm for biomass using a fermenter and a cactus farm for water using a squeezer, and you make a wheat farm to craft the wheat and seeds into plantsballs and compress the plantballs using a compressor into dirt, so you can make a tree farm and use the dirt and extra wheat to make more humus to keep the tree farm going. then with the sand that is a byproduct of the tree farm you can craft it with dirt and a water bucket that fills itself using RP and the water from the cactus into bog earth and use a peat farm to produce peat. you could use excess sapplings for more biomass for example, and you could use the wood from the tree farm in coke ovens to produce creosote oil and charcoal. and you could use the peat your produce in peat engines to power the forestry farms, or charge up a redstone energy cell for example.

you could also make a bee farm where bees get automatically bred, and their offspring gets sorted in chests, excess bees get either voided, or if you have extra bees installed you could process them into liquid dna (or whatever it is called) items produced by bees could get processed and you could also make a part where you automatically cross-breed the bees.

I really like the idea of the pigman spawner! That could result in a lot of gold!

They get hurt by water, right?

I don't think so, I think they only mobs that get hurt by water are endermen, blazes and snow golems. but you can easily make a droptrap with them and for example either use TC3 golems to pick up the drops or use a waterflow to move all the drops to a transposer or an obsidian pipe or even a hungry chest

Yup, Zombie pigmen dosn't get hurt by water but they can drown in it

I see I see, good plan.

Has anyone played the 1.4.6 version of TC3 and seen the new crystal clusters?

Use greg tech at least for UUM production, for added difficulty. I personally kept the solar panel, drill, chainsaw, and a few other recipes activated in the config. and I find myself loving the centrifuge.

GregTech's Matter Fabricator instead of mass fabricator, you can disable Sheldonite ore in case you think it will be too overpower and get the Iridium from Ferrous ore (Themal Expansion) and then since you already have a plan of making Endermen farm, maybe Fusion Reactor...

I love this idea :) I've always wanted a really cool liquid storage area that stores every liquid in giant iron tanks.

Maybe a huge space underground with 7x7x7 railcraft tanks lol! That would be sweet.

How do you get Iridium from Ferrous Ore?

I'm using GregTech ver. 2.72b + TE 2.1.6;
the way to get Iridium from ferrous ore:
1. put 64 Ferrous Ore into the Industrial Grinder to get 64 tiny piles of platinum dust
2. convert it to 8 platinum dusts
3. put 8 platinum dusts into the Industrial Centrifuge to get 1 Iridium chunk

Should be easier than searching for Iridium Ore, and a lot harder than Sheldonite Ore (which can be done after you get to the end with just ender chest + jetpack + diamond drill + pumpkin head + suicide after putting all ores and items into the chest).
