Can the launcher handle two versions of Direwolf20? Lets say I play on two servers, one uses v4 and one uses v5. Or lets say I play v4 on my machine but want to join in a friend's LAN world on v5. How do I do that?

There's a bar on the top that has a drop down menu, and it defaults to "Recommended"
If you click it, it drops down and shows you all the versions of the modpack
So you can log onto version 5 and play on the server..
then go back to 4 if you want to do single player

What i do is i download my recommended pack, and i have a customizable pack (with my own choice of mods), when i play a server or hop on with friends, i use Direwolf20 latest Version, But with my modded pack i rename the File to "Direwolf202" so i know its my #2 Direwolf, When i want to switch, i name the Direwolf20 to "Direwolf201" So i know thats my deafult pack and then i rename my modded pack back to Direwolf20. So the launcher can run easily and i get 2 packs for 1 option in the launcher 
. Your naming system can be different, but as long it's name is "Direwolf20" the launcher will run that folder no problems.
Edit- After reading over what i typed, I kinda confised myself...
What i do is have 2 Direwolf packs. 1 is called Direwolf201 and the second one is Direwolf202.
Which ever one i play, i rename that one to "Direwolf20" and run it through the launcher.
then when i decide to switch i switch the names, and play my other direwolf20 modpack.
