Multiple "Instances"

I have tried this morning to add a second instance to the FTB Launcher. Reason being is i would like to have a "stock" FTB instance and a second one with added mods.

I will be using the same Mojang account for both obviously, is there something that i am missing? or is this not possible to do?

Any help would be appreciated.

The easiest way would be to transfer the FTB mod pack instance to MultiMC.

Yeah easiest way atm is to use Multimc and copy over the FTB instance and then make copies you can edit for yourself. This works just fine, but I would really like to see a mod selection page on the FTB launcher that lets you chose from a list mod author approved mods. I would like to be able to see more than just the mods from the Official FTB pack on there, but also mods like Universal Electricity which isn't in the mods pack but has the teams perms to use.
