When I log on a server and then open lan my brother can't see the ip? I don't know what's wrong. We think it's hard to make a server and just takes ram when we can just open lan, please help anyone?

As far as I know opening to lan doesn't work on servers. To do that, you can start a single player world and do that there.

I don't do vids. It all depends on how fluent in Linux you are after all.

If you are, it's simple - but then again, if you can talk Linux, then you probably know how to already.

If not ... well ... it's hard.

Depends what you're trying to run, and how many players you plan to have on it.

Running Monster server on Windows AND your client playing on it at the same time, is going to rip out your CPU's heart and eat it for breakfast.
