MultiMC forge errors

I just downloaded MultiMC to help me mod since i couldn't get it working. when i add forge to the mods, no matter what version it is it crashes. I have tried it with and without mods still with the same result

This is a known Forge problem. Some of the lib files required for Forge to function did not download. Look here for the fix.

that is about magic farm, sorry but could you give my the actual link?[DOUBLEPOST=1383379486][/DOUBLEPOST]and what to do with them if you dont mind
(im not exactly a computer whiz)

It is not just about Magic Farm you have a Forge error that is in every pack, it will work as it is the same error. Please follow the steps. Either download them manually or get them from another FTB created pack like Unleashed or Unhinged.

Are you trying to run an FTB mod pack with MultiMC or a custom one? In any event you need to get those two files listed above either by manually downloading them or getting them from another pack. I suggest downloading Unleashed and copying them over into the lib folder of the MultiMC instance.

Check the file size. They probably are 0kb in size or not the correct size. They should be approximately (within 1-2kb) 2,264kb (bcprov-jdk15on-148.jar) and 6,948kb (scala-library.jar)

i'm making it pretty much vanilla with a few mods-

NEI
Archimedes ships
tinkers construct
balkons weapon mod

You will get the same error with multimc if those files are missing. Try this thread and download them from there and copy them over.

If you are still geting the same error then you did something wrong. If you downloaded them from the link in my reply above you did remember to remove the .stash from the end of the file.

This is a different error. The cause I believe is that you forgot CodeChickenCore which is required for NEI to work.

nevermind, i removed nei sine with codechickencore since it still didnt work. its fine now
