Mouse Continously Moving

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title Mouse Continously Moving

Launcher Type FTB Launcher

Modpack FTB Beyond

Modpack version 1.2.1

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file

Details of the issue When I just let the mouse be, or even move it, it'll move slowly downwards. There's no way to stop it. When I disconnect the USB, it'll still continue. This is only in FTB packs. (Beyond & HermitPack)
I'm using both the FTB Launcher and MultiMC and it happens, so I assume it's something to do with a mod. No other person on the server I'm playing on has *ever* experienced this.
Any idea?

I've played a ton of mod packs and never heard of that specifically in Minecraft - but I have seen the issue pop up elsewhere, where my mouse just slowly tracks down the desktop.

Do you have a laptop with a touch pad? Or a touch screen? If so, the pad is probably not calibrated. (Or in the case of a capacitive touch screen, moisture might have gotten into the sensors around the edge - you arent supposed to clean a touch screen with a wet rag). Also - a loooong time ago when Windows 10 came out I had weird mouse issues - I fixed this by plugging in a second mouse and just leaving it tucked up under the computer. You might try plugging in a second mouse and see if it fixes it.

If you see touchpad drivers in windows but you don't have a touchpad, you could always try disabling them to see if that fixes it.

Desktop with Razer Mamba 2012.
No, a second mouse didn't work, but rather disabled both.
