Hey guys I'm looking to disable morphing into bats on my server because I feel they're a bit OP. I know where to disable them, I just don't know the entity.whatever for bats. Can somebody put it here?

It may be easier to just disable abilities altogether if you're worried about things being OP, bats are far from the most OP part of Morph.

Also, never morph while you're in any liquid. Ever.

That's the thing though, I want all of the other abilities. Like the spider I'm fine with.. I just don't know how to write bat as an entity name

You could alter this setting

# Prevent players from acquiring these mobs as a morph.
# Leave blank to allow acquisition of all compatible mobs.
# Formatting is as follows: <class>, <class>, <class>
# Example: am2.entities.EntityBattleChicken, biomesoplenty.entities.EntityJungleSpider, thaumcraft.common.entities.monster.EntityWisp
S:blacklistedMobs=

or

# Disable the flight ability until a player has reached the nether?
# 0 = No
# 1 = Yes
I:disableEarlyGameFlight=1

That's the point Yosomith. He wants to know what to fill in at the S:blacklistedMobs= attribute to just disable bats.

Sorry, but I have no idea. Just wanted to clarify.

Thank you, I'll try that!

EDIT: Hm it seems neither of those has done anything.. Oh well guys! Thanks anyway :)

You'd probably be better off disabling abilities. Bats aren't the pnly flying mobs. There's the birds in twilight forest if you have it not to mention blazes.

We will not have twilight forest enabled and blazes are close to impossible to be with particles on. Look its gonna be me and 5 friends on a server.. I can say that just don't be a bat or blaze or bird or whatever, I'm just now genuinely curious how to classify mobs from vanilla in a situation like morph's config.

Additionally I use these three: net.minecraft.entity.monster.EntityGhast, thaumcraft.common.entities.monster.EntityWisp, thaumcraft.common.entities.monster.EntityFireBat

Any morphs that a player has before you disable it will still have that morph.

The Tiny Bird and Raven from Twilight Forest are fantastic for builders both aesthetic and heavily tech based being able to get into those small single block conduit\pipe\cable runs is great.
