Operating System, bit type: OS X 10.6.8 I'm not sure what bit type that is.
Java version/update, bit type: I'm not sure what java version, I think its the latest version of 6.
Launcher version: 1.3.3
Completed the troubleshooting guide (y/n):mostly, except for uninstalling java. I updated.
Console log, pastebin.com link: http://pastebin.com/VmHdTk0J
Description of the problem: When I click launch on monster I notice lots of red errors in the console window and nothing happens. This has started when I updated to version 1.0.7. Prior to this I was using version 1.0.3. As a test I tried loading into magic farm 2 and that worked fine.

If I am not mistaken Macs are still stuck with Java 6 as they are always a version behind. As for this issue look at this post in the Monster bug thread.

It appears that Calclavia compiled Universal Electricity Core 3.0.1.8 with Java 7 and therefor made it required.

I have no idea how to install Java 7 on my Mac OS X 10.6.8. I followed the instructions of the first answer located here ( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13536667/how-to-install-java-jdk-7-on-snow-leopard ) utilizing pacifist, but I think I broke my Java. I can no longer get the launcher to start. When I try to go through the java website it tells me to get 10.7.3 or something, which I think costs money and don't really have the capability to do. I appreciate your support so far.

Thanks for your help guys. Knowing that Java 7 was necessary helped push me in the right direction. I was able to download a new OS for free (Mavericks) and this allowed me to download Java 7. I have happily reconnected to the server. :D
