Most often this means your install path was not valid. It happens when you try to install packs onto your desktop, or into a folder containing special characters.

Change the Install path in the FTB Launcher's options tab to your Downloads folder, or make a new folder for FTB on C:\, then try again.

If you still don't have any luck, please follow Ash's instructions, so we have enough information to know what has gone wrong.

when ever i try to reinstall the modpack monster it doesnt instal the insta mods and when it starts up launching the game

it just turns black and dissapers without any errors the whole thing shuts down

and it doesnt show the console jpeg thing on the hotbar

(i use mac)
