I think the picture is self-explanatory, and the save folders are in the right directory and i was able to load them this morning. I have no idea what is wrong o_o

If you remember your world seed, continue on and read the rest of my post. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
Generate a world with the same seed and world generation type. Then, copy over the level.dat from that world into your original world.

Did you create a new world for fun and see whether it appears in that folder? If not, you've pasted your saves in the wrong directory.

I did, thats the "New Folder" that you see. It appeared on both menus, untill i replaced the "New Folder" files with the "Its a Mad World" (possibly corrupted) files. The directory is correct as far as i can tell.

Thats why it is important to have frequent backups...

Inside your save folders you should find a file called "level.dat-old". If this is missing, then that is most likely what is causing your problem. Had it happen to myself a couple times. In that case you really need to either load a backup or import that file from an older backup.

You MIGHT be able to use a file from another save, I don't know how that would work. But bear in mind that this file stores your location, all your carried items, armour and personal stored progress in mods like TC etc.

I've got level.dat-old, and i think at this point i've just given up :p I'll just find a server to play on which has frequent backups or whatever xd

Honestly from personal experience, if you care about loosing your progress, someone else's server is not the best approach. :p
