  • Windows 7 SP1 64 bit
  • Local server. Runs vanilla servers just fine.
  • Monster 1.1.1
  • No mods added. Stock Monster.
  • AMD Athlon X2 240 2.8ghz / 6GB DDR2
I downloaded the Monster 1.1.1 server download file from the feed the beast website. A separate directory was created, just as I have done with vanilla server instances. I ensured the default port of 25565 was not being used. Upon initial startup, lots of errors were generated (see log). In order to determine if a conflict had occurred, I disabled the vanilla servers. The same errors appeared. I perused the forums and found that an FTBInstall.bat file is necessary for some mod versions, however it was indicated that the .bat file would be included in the pack if it was needed.

This is the problem: java.util.ConcurrentModificationException and it is caused by running java 8, I'd suggest uninstalling java 8 and installing java 7. If you don't want to change your java, you can try putting this into your mods folder: http://files.minecraftforge.net/LegacyJavaFixer/legacyjavafixer-1.0.jar. Or you can try this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum...-forge-1-6-4-1-7-2-java-8-compatibility-patch

if you use the last option, there is an additional step in the post number 5 for servers
