Is this a bug? Recipe in NEI is two "wiring" plus one "lapotron crystal" in the middle but it doesn't work. Did an internet search and found a few reports but no solutions? Help please, thanks.
 
yeah it's more ID weirdness with lapotron crystals.

I just used the other recipe and made a filled REC frame instead :)

What is "the other recipe"? And what is a "filled REC frame"?

REC = redstone energy cell, and there is indeed a second recipe in NEI, I ALWAYS forget to use those left and right arrows!!

The other recipe, you just substitute the lapotron crystal for an "energy cell frame (full)" from thermal expansion.

There's arrows in the recipe box in NEI, you can scroll through different ways of making things :)
