Okay guys I have muddled my way thru thaumcraft & spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting my issue watching no less than 10 different vids on the infusion altar, some using more pedestals some using less blah blah.. Long story short I built a huge space for my altar where nothing random should be interfering with it I have a few but not a lot of clusters ect placed to help with flux, I've built & rebuilt the altar itself thinking that might be the issue. What happens is this I get everything setup to do say advanced golem all nice & neat on their pedestals, put the golem on his in middle.. step back click on matrix with my wand.. & I've tried 3 dif types of wands thinking that might be my problem.. but nothing happens.. nada.. no go everything stays right where it is, no magic essence comes out of the matrix, it just keeps on a spinning & my collected essence stays in the warded jars..

Not sure if you can tell from this but my pedestals are one block from the entire construct. the jars are 6 blocks from the pedestals.. as this recipe calls for sensus, cognito & victus I even moved the jars right next to the raised platform during one attempt, as I've stated before I've used all manners & numbers of pedestals I have appx 10 in my pocket atm lol. so I'm prepared to add more or take away just want to get it working

Just saw the problem, and it's actually not the jars. You need to put the golem on the center pedestal as an item, rather than as an entity IIRC.
