Monster FTB 1.0.5, EU-Reader not working

You right click once then click again after a second or so, unless it has changed in the 1.6 version of ic2, to get a reading.
In its current incarnation, the IC2 Experimental power grid is being heavily worked on. Because of this, they've currently disabled exploding machines/cables and EU/t limit on cables (to my understanding at least). Another side effect of this is that the EU reader isn't functional. So that's why you're not getting any reading.
