  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Launcher Version:
1.1.1
Modpack:
Monster
Modpack Version:
1.1.1
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
This is my first time attempting to host a FTB server.

Following the instructions at http://www.feed-the-beast.com/servers/hosting fails to produce a running/functional server.

Steps taken:

1) Download 1.1.1 version of Monster FTB at: http://ftb.cursecdn.com/FTB2/modpacks/Monster/1_1_1/MonsterServer.zip

2) Place zipped folder in file on desktop, unzip contents.

3) Double-click on ServerStart.bat.

4) Sever fails to load. See pastebin.

5) Check ServerStart.bat for any obvious issues; none seen.

I am gonna assume this is the 1.6.4 version ? I did not look at the log sorry but if it is and you are using java 8 you either need to go back to 7 or follow this video to fix the problem!
there is another way to fix it as well with a jar mod. If you don't want to change your java, you can try putting this into your mods folder: http://files.minecraftforge.net/LegacyJavaFixer/legacyjavafixer-1.0.jar. That is from another link. So there ya go my friend. Also did that download come from the FTB client?
