Is there actually Iridium Ore in the pack? Because the only ore I see in NEI is Nether Iridium Ore. Is that the only way you can get Iridium Ore now? I ask because in the IC2 config it has Iridium Ore, but when I go to NEI it isn't there (when going through the pages and looking for the ID value. Since there is basically no information given on how to use IC2 Experimental I was wondering if it was a new thing with IC2 Exp, or if there was other mods turning off the Iridium Ore in the overworld?

The nether Iridium ore your seeing is from reactorcraft (rotarycraft's reactor add on) which looks like it can be converted to IC2 iridium by using rotarycraft's ore processing.

Yep, between dungeon loot and nether ores, I have 50+ iridium ore and I haven't touched a mass fab yet. I had a bug with my iridium ore though, so careful with it. 10 pieces of nether iridium vanished into thin air.

I believe he is referring to the fact that you add processing of iridium ore into iridium that powercrystal's netherores registers that you add processing with it and decides to spawn it in. This is the same with things like nikolite that is now even more less than it was before elo 'disappeared'.

Yes, but that is a bug in that mod's detection system.

NetherOres also generates Nickolite ore in the nether, unless im mistaken, nothing since Red Power has used that.

You are correct, but it is again caused by the faulty detection mechanism - rather than seeing if another version of the ore exists, NetherOres tests to see if anything can process the ore type. Simply being able to process Nikolite means that NetherOres will generate it.

That is... Intriguing
