Monazit, the what, the where, the who?

Alright. as the title of the op says.
What is monazit for? who put it in, and what does the guilty mod actually do?

It's from MFFS (Modular Force Field System) mod

It macerates into Forcium, which is used extensively in that mod.

So it does belong to MFFS. alright, so now I have the culprit. but what does the items made with this stuff do? I have to admit that prior to FTB i never touched MFFS at all.
Maybe there is a wiki somewhere? tekkit uses another mod with the same abbreviation, but even a quick look reveals that it is not the same mod at all.

I think it might be the same mod, but changed significantly from its 1.2.5 incarnation.

Basically, Forcium around a diamond makes a forcium crystal which is a component in making MFFS machines. You can NEI that. Forcium is also fuel in MFFS machines to power the force fields themselves (requires a LOT of Eu to generate it as well).

the energy does infact not have to be EU it can be MJ aswell not sure about whatever it is that Universal Electricity uses works though just connect buildcraft pipe to the MFFS extractor and your good to go

Ahh, I was not aware the MFFS Extractor could hook up to MJ as well, that's pretty nifty. I figured since it was an IC2 addon that it would just run on Eu.
