Makes sense. Direwolf20 is doing the same thing. Too many mods have skipped 1.5 to make a major pack worthwhile. I'm having fun in my 1.5 world but I'm very much regarding it as temporary until a 1.6 pack comes out.
Back on-topic: I call it "Soylent Emerald".
Really? I can't think of more than two or three mods at most that have skipped 1.5, and many of the ones that updated for 1.5 will apparently be skipping 1.6.
I don't know if this has been mentioned but In the 1.6 versions of Tinkers Construct there is a gem cast.

No apology necessary, updating an old discussion with a new solution is very much welcome in my opinion.
Agreed. I was just pointing out the reason why the gem cast wasn't mentioned earlier in the thread.
I did mention it. It was just not working at the time. It only started doing what it was supposed to in 1.6.
