I always thought that was a bit funny. So in theory you could make a tank full of molten emerald by using a villager breeder and dumping a few into the smeltery.

mighty fine liquiduct decorations use iron tank valves as hook points for liquid pillars or runners

Yes, however there are rumors molten emeralds will be removed. I haven't been able to find the offical word from mDiyo though.

Obsidian can be melted into an ingot :0 Molten emerald is used for making end stone - which is needed for making soul shard - so very good usage especially if you are weak and don't have quantum gear

I think to me, that you can't just place a block inside of a smeltery and it will smelt it. If so, I'm not sure how dropping a villager inside it will smelt the villager into emerld.

Or I could be going about this all wrong.

Dropping the villager inside the smeltery does make .5 nuggets per villager hp.
And I tried to make a block of emerald ... no success even with 9 ingots total.

So the bees/beacon + villager method would make an awesome way to fill out a iron tank of liquid emerald
