molecular assembler makes connection between next interface

The two smart cables are separated by cable anchors, but because the molecular assemblers connect up to each other it only uses one cable. When you reach maximum capacity for that cable the remaining interfaces will not come online as it will not use the other cable. Is there anyway to make sure that molecular assemblers do not make this connection between them.

It may not be the answer you want, but leave a space between them. Most AE2 ME blocks will carry through a signal the same way a basic cable will.

You could add the Chisel Blocks that look like active AE Controllers between. Would add a cool factor without effecting functionality.
