Modular Power Suit Charging IC2 Items

Hey guys!
Ive been playing FTB for a few weeks and have my Modular Power Suit working and I read on multiple wiki's that the modular power suit is able to charge IC2 electric tools. Ive tested this and it seemed to work great but for some reason it just wont recharge my mining laser no matter how depleted it is. I was just wondering if this is a bug or if it isn't supposed to charge it?

That's because the powersuits is counted as a "tier 1" tool.
For example, every tool in IC2 has a teir, represented usually by an associated voltage -
Drills, chainsaws, rock cutter, electric jet pack all tier 1/batbox stuff.
Laser, advanced drill/chainsaw, nano suit, all tier 2/MV/MFE
Quantum suit tier 3/HIV/mfsu

During design, it was unconfiguarable- a tool had a set level, in 1.5 a level can be adjusted, so one can lower the tier f their Powersuits if they want to use a batbox, or raise it if they want to charge their mining laser.

In 1.4.7 your best bet would be to wear a lap pack/advanced jetpack/advanced nano suit/etc.
