Mods NEVER load

When I install the launcher and it brings up the modpacks tab it only shows 'Please wait while mods are being loaded...' but it never loads. After hours of leaving it to "load" nothing ever happens. I've tried everything I can think of/find on the forums and google. I've re-downloaded minecraft, re-downloaded java, gotten rid of AVG, followed the steps on how to install the launcher to a T, changed the download location, tried to log in to see if that would help, and yet nothing ever happens. I've been at this for a week and have probably re-installed FTB 50 or so times. I'm at my wits end but all I wanna do is play DW 20 so please help me.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Valerie\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher\launcher_styles\defaultStyle.cfg (The system cannot find the path specified)

make sure the launcher has permissions to write to that location. run the launcher as admin once if you're not sure

ok, open C:\Users\Valerie\AppData\Roaming\ in windows explorer, then delete the "ftblauncher" folder and try again

I deleted the ftblauncher folder and then ran as admin and still the same thing as the first time. http://pastebin.com/zc9m0F6K No, I don't have forge installed in vanilla minecraft if that's what you mean. I actually tried to install it before to just get my own mods since I've been struggling with this so much but for some reason I kept getting an error that the libraries couldn't be copied or installed or something like that.

I do not like suggesting this for the AppData folder, but try adding the folder C:\Users\Valerie\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher\ to the exceptions list of your antivirus program which ever one you replaced AVG with. You might only have to do this once, try removing the exception after the launcher runs once and is able to access it.
