Modpacks from Launcher are slow on My Custom PC

So when I go into Direwolf20 modpack I load up a new world and my pc runs it very slow. Like its loading the world really slow and there a lot of lag spikes and there is fps loss.

My pc is:
intel i5 3570k
Radeon r9 280
8gb RAM

I don't know what other specs you would need, but if you know the answer or solution to my problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

For note: Java is Updated, Graphics are Updated, and Processor is Updated

How much memory do you have dedicated to the game?

Well, that is most likely your problem..
Reduce it to 3GB if you are not using a texture pack. 3.5GBish if you are. Never more than 4GB. The lesser the better.
