ModPackA 1.4.6

I'm aware ModPackA is just for testing purposes but it still was my favourite modpack.
I heared there will be no updated version for 1.4.6 and i feel sad since i'd really like the features from that.

So correct me if I'm wrong but if not; could someone help me build the ModPackA on the base of DW20s pack?

I'm ready to launch a server but i wanted to start with the 1.4.6 updated ModPackA.

The beta pack is not going to be updated, mainly as it doesn't use the standardised ids that the packs are using now. What there will be will be the pack variations (magic, tech, etc), which will be updated, and the mods will be interchangeable (yay, standardised ids!).

As I recall, the dw20 pack has most of the mods available, barring gregtech and twilight forest.

What mods are you looking to add/remove specifically?

Wait for the Ultimate Pack. It will be most similar to Beta Pack A. You could also use the Mindcrack pack now, which is quite similar to Beta Pack A. However, the Beta Pack A will be dropped as soon as the Ultimate Pack is release I believe (Honestly, they should just drop it now - they have packs out and it is not a standardized pack.

I wanted to the exact same ModPackA layout besides SteveCarts.

But i don't really get how i can create a Serverpack. If i remove mods will the download change at all?

If by server pack you mean the private packs with a passcode Slowpoke has been talking about, that has not been implemented yet.
Don't worry, Ultimate Pack will be here before too long. I still think it is possible before new year.
