Windows .exe Modpack not downloading

Hello. Whenever I try to download the mindcrack pack it stays at the downloading modpack please wait. Nothing more happens it just stays like that. Is there anything I can do to fix this? The mindcraft version is 8.1.1

Maybe some sort of log file would help? Have you tried switching download servers?

In the console it stands downloading modpack and the link. If I close the dowloading window a downloading jar window shows up. That windows stopped at about 50%. And in the console it now stands downloading Jars.

Try opening the launcher and going to Options > Advanced Options > Download Location:

and try picking a different location until you find one that lets you download to 100%

I've tried dowloading on deskop, roaming and in a folder I made named FTB in roaming. None of these worked.[DOUBLEPOST=1362223679][/DOUBLEPOST]Yay it's downloading now. I tried to run it in compability mode and it worked.

I was talking about "Download location" as in what external website to get the pack from not "Install folder" but forget all that, nice to see that everything is working for you now.
