Hi all, i have never had an issue up till FTB Monsters was updated to v1.0.3

Since trying to update, i always get the error that Modpack failed to download.

I have completely deleted everything related to minecraft, ran cleaners, restarted, cleaned again, fresh install to different directory, launch and install, and when it downloads the mod pack, still get the same error.

I have set different locations to receive files.

Any help would be appreciated..

What are you saying? Vanilla minecraft has nothing to do with FTB or the mod packs, the folders and files are seprate.

ok, well i have just completed a fresh install on a clean drive..

first thing i installed was java with FTB, and i am still getting the same error.

something suggests to me that it isnt an issue on my end..

any help would be muchly appreciated

A thought have you tried downloading it while not doing anything else with your computer? Just let it sit over night. You said you tried changing locations, have you tried recently? I was having trouble with Chicago and changed it to Nottingham. I've used it and have heard good things about using it. Be sure to exit out of and restart the launcher so the settings take affect. Hope that helped in some way.

30 minutes is not a long time with the new packs. Unless it gives you an error in the log after the part about retaining modpack.zip then let it load. Sometimes it looks like it isn't doing anything, but it is. Hope that is your current problem and not a downloading error.
