this is kind of a bug but i didn't think it fit under that. okay so I play feed the beast, but i have been having this issue where the packs will open, but no matter what pack I try it runs at 4 FPS even on the title screen. I am on OS X 10.10, running java 8. the maximum RAM is 8.0 GB.i have FTB launcher version 1.4.4. it has been this lag for a long time and I don't know how to fix it.

You may want to lower the RAM, as that could affect your computer negatively. At most, you should only need four. You should also downgrade to Java 7, as Java 8 has problems with Modded Minecraft. Otherwise, you may just need to upgrade your computer.

the issue with that is that OS X 10.10 isn't compatible with java 7

i have no idea how to make java 7 work
it is very annoying because i love FTB unleashed
